Our Projects

The Ed Coates Memorial Foundation Scholarships and bursaries are awarded in the memory of Ed Coates, a true pioneer in BC’s automotive industry. As Co-Founder, President, and CEO of Lordco Auto Parts, Ed built his original Maple Ridge automotive parts store through perseverance, courage, and an unfailing belief in his vision over the course of 40 years, moulding it into the largest privately-held automotive parts distributor in Canada. The Foundation is proud to support future automotive leaders and we hope that the recipient of these awards will be inspired by Ed’s passion for the automotive industry.
